DPPP CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Down Payment Protection Plan policy is nontransferable under any circumstances however, original customer(s) and/or policy holder(s) do and will have unconditional right to cancel Down Payment Protection Plan policy(Standard Policy and/or Advance Policy) at any time prior to experiencing Constructive Total Loss. Standard cancellation provisions include fully cancelable/fully refundable one hundred percent (100%) within first thirty (30) days of the Down Payment Protection Plan policy purchase date minus fifty dollars ($50) service cancellation charge and thereafter, Down Payment Protection Plan policy is cancelable with a pro-rata( amortization scale) refund method minus fifty dollars ($50) service charge.
Down Payment Protection Plan policy refund will be made to the lien holder, if any and/or at a time of cancellation, otherwise will be made to a policy holder and policy holder only.
Cancellation by policy holder(s) and policy holder(s) only, will become effective as of the date the written and sign cancellation notice by policy holder(s) and policy holder(s) only is received by us, Down Payment Protection Plan LLC and/or our administrator. We, Down Payment Protection Plan LLC and us only, will mail out customer(s) and/or policy holder(s) written notice of our cancellation policy receipt and resulting cancellation of customer(s) and/or policy holder(s) within fifteen (15) business days of the cancellation notice date received by us (Down Payment Protection Plan LLC) and us only. Down Payment Protection Plan Cancellation Form is accessible on our website as well.
DPPP CLAIM(S)
In the case of total loss and total loss only, customer(s) and/or policy holder(s) will have to provide the following:
- Completed DPPP Claim form and/or cancellation letter signed by original policy holder(s)
- Copy of current and valid vehicle state registration at a time and/or date of reported total loss
- Copy of current and valid policy holder(s) drivers license at a time of reported total loss
- Copy of current and valid policy holder(s) insurance binder showing full coverage at a time of reported total loss
- Copy of complete, sign and dated official police report with narrative
- Copy of paid in full original lien holder notification showing zero dollars ($0) balance on the original loan
- Copy of original Buyers Order and/or Bill of Sale, GAP Protection policy and Original Retail Installment Contract
- Copy of replacement vehicle Buyer Order and/or Bill of Sale and replacement vehicle Retail Installment Contract
- Copy of replacement vehicle Bank/Lien Holder Approval with Lien Holder phone number! Down Payment Protection Plan Claim Form is accessible on our website.
Due to Gramm-Leach-Billey Act (Privacy Act), Down Payment Protection Plan LLC are NOT ABLE to gather this information for customer(s) and/or policy holder(s) and customer(s) and/or policy holder(s) will have to make any and/or every effort to provide necessary and required information to us (Down Payment Protection Plan, LLC). Without necessary and required information, Down Payment Protection Plan, LLC in NOT ABLE to process requested customer(s) and/or policy holder(s) claim.
DPPP EXCLUSIONS
Down Payment Protection Plan benefits shall NOT and will NOT be provided upon occurrence of Constructive Total Loss;!
- When a Constructive Total Loss occurs prior to final Finance/Lease Contract Approval
- When a Constructive Total Loss date is a prior to the date of the DPPP, LLC policy activation date
- When a Constructive Total Loss occurs during and/or after legal confiscation of covered vehicle by a government official
- When a Constructive Total Loss occurs during and/or after legal confiscation of covered vehicle by a public official
- When a Constructive Total Loss occurs during and/or after covered vehicle has been repossessed by a original Lender employee(s) and/or agent(s) or placed in the original Lender or it’s employee(s) or legal agent(s) possession.
- When a Constructive Total Loss is caused by theft where official accident and/or police report has not be filled in 24 hours
- When a Constructive Total Loss occurs but customer(s) full name is NOT on official accident and/or police report
- When a Constructive Total Loss is result of being used and/or operated and/or maintained by any speed contest, in any race and/or any other contest and/or any show.
- When a Constructive Total Loss is result in directly and/or indirectly, declared or not declared civil war, war, revolution(s), controlled and/or uncontrolled riot, invasion, military and/or paramilitary activity, and/or any rebellion
- When a Constructive Total Loss occurs and/or results directly or indirectly from a fraudulent and/or deceptive and/or illegal and/or criminal act(s) of a legal DPPP,LLC policy holder(s) and/or DPPP,LLC customer(s) and/or their permissive user while committing a felony, including but not limited to DUI/DWI and/or while seeking to elude lawful apprehension of arrest by a law enforcement official(s) and/or any other legal enforcement official(s). No Down Payment Protection Policy amount will be waived until any and/or all charges has been dismissed or adjudicated NOT GUILTY.
- To a covered vehicle with a salvage title and/or rebuilt title at a time of sale or for which title has not be changed and/or reissued as salvage and/or rebuild prior to the date of Constructive Total Loss
- Unless a Constructive Total Loss occurs within: a) United States of America, it’s legal territories and/or possession(s); b) Canada; or being legally transported by licensed and insured official(s) between any and all previously stated and listed
In the case of fraud and/or misrepresentation, intentionally and/or not intentionally, concealed or misrepresented any material fact, and/or engaged in fraudulent conduct and/or made a false statement(s)

If you are a customer, we collect certain information about you, such as your full name, primary residence mailing address, phone number(s) and email address as needed to provide our products and services to you. - For fraud prevention;

We may disclose the above information to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we, Down Payment Protection Plan LLC, have joint marketing agreements.
By responding to offers of products and/or services of our affiliates or non-affiliated third party(s), you as a customer may be disclosing your personal information directly to them. Use and disclosure of your information by them (affiliates and/or non- affiliates) in connection with their products and services is governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not control their use or disclosure of that and/or your(s) personal information.
However, if you and you only as our value customer prefer that we (Down Payment Protection Plan, LLC) do NOT disclose the above information about you to our affiliated and/or non-affiliated third party(s), you do have unconditional legal right to opt out of these disclosures.
